Panch prayag Panch Kedar Darshan
The Uttarakhand region is also known for the Panch prayag and Panch Kedar Darshan and Chardham Darshan. The region abounds in emblems and an iconic forms of Shiva sect of Lord Shiva, Panch prayag Panch Kedar Darshan, much more than the Vaishnava sect. The western part of Garhwal region in particularly known as Kedar-Kshetra or Kedar mandala, encompasses in its ambit all the five temples constituting the Panch Kedar.
About Panch prayag Panch Kedar Darshan, it is said that the Panch prayag Panch Kedar Darshan Yatra (pilgrimage) could be directly related to the Gorakhnath Sampradaya of Nepal. As a proof, it is stated that the culmination of the Panch prayag Panch Kedar Darshan was at Pashupatinath temple in Nepal.
